DESCRIPTION:9:00am 2nd TED Classic Car Show Registration Starts you can register online or at the show. (Online preferred to make the line go quicker) Pay a $15 entry fee to donate to the kids candy! Decorate your cars for Trunk or Treat or Dress up. \nTED Trophy will be the best of show and the coolest trophy we need to make this trophy. \nSchedule for the day: \n\n9-11am 2nd TED car show\n9-12am plane show\n11:00 Candy Drop for Kids\n11:30 Trunk or Treat Starts\n12:15 Trunk or treat ends\nAwards for Car Show Start at 12:30\n12:45 RUNWAY CLOSES\n1:00- 4pm Race the Runway\n\nA variety of food trucks will be here! \nRace the Runway – $100 per car (LIMITED to 100 cars sign up fast!)  \nStreet One\n4-6 Cylinders N/A Cars all Stock street tires only \nStreet Two\nV8 and up 4 Cylinder and V6 Turbos Stock street tires only \nWe will not be including heavily modified cars this year.  This should be a a fun event for cars off the street. \nWe will inspect the cars before they race. \nAll participants MUST Sign a Liability Waiver at the race no exceptions. \nCLICK HERE to download the waiver.\nPlease bring the signed waiver with you to the event. \n\nThere is NO alcohol permitted\nRacers MUST wear a Helmet\nRace will be 1000FT\nWater Burnouts only\nArm Drop Start\nDrivers meeting must be attended at the beginning of the race to go over the rules and draw numbers to determine when and who you race.\nCars must go through tech inspection in order to compete\nThere will be ZERO Tolerance for Fighting/Arguing/Disorder etc.  You will be ejected without warning.\n\nRain date is Sunday October 20th

DESCRIPTION:**** CLICK HERE FOR MAP OF THE EVENT **** \nSteel is gearing up for the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8\, 2024. Dayton is in the path of totality and will be plunged into darkness for 2 minutes and 43 seconds beginning at 3:09pm. A once-in-a-lifetime event! \nWe will be hosting a brunch starting at 11 am. You must pre-register!  A donation will be accepted at the door. \nWe will also be selling Cool Commemorative T-shirts. Please also preregister to ensure we have your size available. \nThere will be prizes and trivia\, but 30 minutes before the event\, there will be silence and no music.  We want to allow everyone to enjoy the special event. A limited number of slots are available for a very special\, once-in-a-lifetime experience. \nRegister below! We look forward to seeing you soon! \nDay of Event Details: \nThanks for choosing Steel Aviation as your path to TOTALITY. We welcome you to our little airport Dayton-Phillipsburg. \nWe want everyone to have a blast during the eclipse party so let’s all come together and enjoy this amazing experience.  Remember safety first\, fun second.  We look forward to creating some unforgettable memories and witnessing the magic of the totality together. \nWe are excited to share this once-in-a-lifetime event with you and look forward to having you as our guests. To maintain the highest level of safety and enjoyment\, we would appreciate it if you could read over and follow the instructions below: \n\nPlease note that we widened and extended our runway\, which is 75 wide by 3200\, and paved with fresh asphalt.\nWe are a non-towered airport. Our Unicom is: 122.7\nParking is plentiful\, but please bring tie-downs and/or chocks. Depending on attendance/space\, you may be parked on gravel or grass. Please bring your lawn chairs. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks.\nWe will have brunch for registered people and an ice cream truck onsite.  Other than that\, food options are limited.\nWe have T-shirts for those who have ordered and a limited number of extras for sale.\nSteel Aviation will have several aircraft\, including Cirrus and Diamond\, for sale.\nWe will also have a raffle with great prizes!  We will have several yard games set up as well SPIKE BALL\, VolleyBall\, Cornhole etc.\nAt approximately 10:00 EST\, the C2A group will fly Cirrus formation into 3i7\nUpon Arrival\, please look for Marshals. They will place you in a parking spot.\nUnless you have made prior arrangements\, there are no rental cars or courtesy cars available.\nPlease feel free to bring music; however\, we ask that you turn the music off at 2:30 so that others can enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime event.\nThe airport will close at 2:30 for all Arrivals\, and we will reopen at 3:30 for Departures.
